Statistics: Russia’s inflation slows down to 0.15% in Oct 10–Mon
MOSCOW, Oct 18 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation decelerated to 0.15% from October 10 through Monday from 0.24% in the previous week, and reached 5.07% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
Fruit and vegetables prices increased by 0.4% on average. Tomato prices inflated by 5.5% and banana prices by 1.3%. However, prices for carrots and apples fell by 1.8%.
Prices for vegetable preserves for children decreased 0.4%, cottage cheese 0.2%. Egg prices grew 3%, pork and chicken meat ones 0.9%.
Gasoline prices fell by 0.29% and diesel fuel prices by 0.35%.
